How Pixio handles the information of the businesses that use it and the people they call.
Last updated 6 October 2026
Who we are
Pixio provides AI voice agents that answer and make phone calls for businesses: they talk to enquiries, qualify them, book callbacks and pass the details to the business. Here, "the business" is our customer, and "you" is a person who talks to one of their agents or whose details they give us.
What we collect
- Phone calls: your phone number, the call's audio recording, a written transcript, and timing and cost details.
- What you tell the agent: for example the occasion, dates, city, number of guests or travellers, budget, and your name if you give it.
- Lead details the business gives us: name, phone number and any other fields from their lists, website forms, CRM, or ad forms on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Lead Ads) when the business connects their account.
- WhatsApp messages sent by the business through Pixio, such as a brochure after a call, when they connect WhatsApp.
- For the business's team: their name and email address when they sign in.
How it's used
- To hold the conversation, understand what you need, and call back at the time you ask for.
- To give the business a record of the call and your enquiry, so their team can follow up.
- To send you what the business offers to send (for example a brochure on WhatsApp).
- To keep the service working and improve call quality, for example by replaying recorded phrases instead of generating them again.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising. Data from Meta is used only to deliver the business's leads to them and contact those leads on their behalf, as the person asked when they filled in the form.
Who processes it
These services process data for us, only to run Pixio:
- Cloudflare: Hosts the app and its database (leads, campaigns, call records) and stores call recordings and transcripts.
- Amazon Web Services (Mumbai, India): Runs the call server that connects calls and runs the voice agent.
- Vobiz: The phone line: connects calls to and from the telephone network.
- Sarvam AI: Speech-to-text, text-to-speech and the language model that understand and speak on calls.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): Only when a business connects it: lead form submissions come from Meta, and messages such as brochures are sent through WhatsApp.
- Google: Sign-in to the Pixio app for the business's team.
How long it's kept
Call recordings, transcripts and lead details are kept while the business uses Pixio, so they can follow up, and are deleted when the business asks or closes their account. Anyone can ask for their own data to be deleted at any time; see data deletion.
Not wanting calls
Tell the agent on any call that you don't want to be called, and you won't be called again by that business through Pixio. You can also write to us.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to hello@pixio.tech with the phone number you were called on.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Access to the app needs a Google sign-in by the business's approved team, or an API key they create and can revoke. Calls are handled on servers in India.
